Die Lage der historischen Immobilie verstoße gegen ein Küstengesetz aus dem Jahr 1988, nach dem bis zu 500 Meter vom Strand entfernt nicht gebaut werden darf. Ein Schlag ins Gesicht für Müller, der mehrere Millionen Euro in den von der Gemeinde autorisierten Umbau gesteckt hatte.
